We headed north for a week of hiking and climbing on Ben Nevis. After some initial blizzards and strong winds, we had a week of incredible views, weather and climbing.
The train journey from Glasgow to Fort William is surely one of, if not the most, scenic in the UK, as it snakes its way over bridges and around contours up into the highlands, passing lochs and mountains all the way - and even more beautiful at sunset:
